Jeff started the day off by demo-ing our front porch. He is going to add new spindles and railings. Our old ones were rotting and the capenter bees had a hey day with the untreated wood. The house looks really stately without the spindles and rails, but for safety I guess it is best we replace them. :)
We also pressure washed everything. We are so thankful that a friend let us borrow his pressure washer! The sidewalks, outdoor furniture, and pool deck all got a good washing. Jeff still has parts of the house to do, but we made a huge dent today. It is amazing to me how the furniture looks new after a good wash!
Jeff also weeded and got our beds ready for new mulch.
We have a lot we want to accomplish next weekend. Here is a little list of the jobs we have yet to do outside.
- purchase and spread mulch
- purchase and plant flowers and shrubs
- finish pressure washing
- purchase and add gutters and down spout to back porch
- clean and open pool
- purchase materials and build and paint front porch railings and spindles
- replace front door screen door
Do you have a long outdoor to do list? Do you love spring as much as I do?

Y'all are doing great over there!!! Did you get a copy of the sessions from C4C in Jan? Did you go to the session about leading your children spiritually? Wanted to get notes. XOXO
