Lenny had seen Annie at the Fox two years ago, but this musical is so good that multiple viewings aren't minded. She also got the soundtrack last Christmas and serenaded the entire playground on the last day of school, remember?
We enjoyed a dinner of Lenny's choice.
(Smart mommy decided on eating at the food court in the mall so she wouldn't have to eat McD's.)
After getting lost downtown from making a wrong turn and getting yelled at by a very road ragical (I know it's not a word) driver for turning in front of him when I needed to get to a gas station to ask for directions (you were in class Kee)(I had on my turn signal for a looong time and I drive a big car so I figured he would do the polite thing and let me by. I guessed wrong.) we finally made it to the Fox. We rushed to our very good seats in the center of the first balcony and settled in to enjoy the show.
It was really cool to see our good friends during intermission. We so should have car pooled had I known they were going. Lenny was tired as it was now after 9:00. We watched the remainder of the show, exited with ease, and she was asleep before I hit 85.
