10

10.  She loves to read.  Mostly nonfiction, but you will also find an animal fantasy in her hands occasionally.  Well, nowadays she reads electronically where she can fall away into a book with the click of a button.

9.  She is a great big sister.  Even though she and Coco fight like cats and dogs (Lenny being the cat, of course), they are the best of playmates and friends (although she would NEVER admit it).  Baby A also loves to play with his big sister who will ride scooters and play trucks and share her stuffed animals.

8.  She still loves to cuddle.  Even though she is 10, she still loves to be in her daddy's arms and to lie close to her mom.

7.  She loves school.  This child is one of those that is begging to go back to school in July.  She loves routine and structure.  And this year she loves that her teacher has taught her how to have fun in class.  (Thank you Mrs. Whitfield!)

6.  She is not a girly girl.  No pink or frills or anything that screams girl for this one.  Nope.  She much prefers comfort and practicality over pretty.

5.  She is an introvert.  While she enjoys playing with others, she is perfectly happy alone in her room.  She thinks things through.  She would rather work alone than in a group.

4.  She is super creative.  Whether it be drawing or writing this girl can draw you in with her talent.

3.  She feels big.  Lenny is the kind of soul that feels deeply.  She empathizes like a person three times her age.  She fights injustice.  She angers quickly.  And she loves big.

2.  She is the perfect mix of Jeff and I in looks and personality.

1.  She gets it.  Lenny knows what is important.  She knows herself.  She is confident.  She is brave and tough.  She loves God and others.

Lenny, I couldn't be more proud of you.  You walk to the beat of your own drummer with such confidence and grace.  All who know you love you.  I've never heard one negative comment about you.  I admire you and can't wait to see how you continue move and change the world-because you are already doing so at 10!
