1. Paint the stairway, add a new gallery wall, and add the finishing touches to the entry.

2. Finish the upstairs hallway
I'd like to add some storage and make this area colorful and highlight the kids' art.

3. Finish the flippin' stairs
This was on my 2011 list. We did rip up the carpet and got one coat of paint down, but it needs to be trimmed out and painted some more. Please stairway gods (aka my husband) grant favor on our stairs!!
4. Spruce up the master bath
We redid our bath after we first moved in, but it is time for another change. The color does not match the newish color in the bedroom and I'm ready to lighten things up.
I've started by trying out a new lamp shade.

5. The Kitchen
Oh, where to begin. This space was so poorly planned when the house was built (not by us). I would love to gut the whole thing and start over, but that ain't happenin'. So, I would love to freshen things up by a new wood counter, beadboard backsplash, and a fresh coat of paint on the cabinets. I wouldn't mind a new sink, too.
I clean. I promise. The tile is just beyond ready to be replaced.

6. The Great Outdoors
We live outdoors 9 months out of the year, but have never put too much attention to our outdoor spaces. This was a secret goal last year, but landscaping is expensive. I'm hoping this year we may be able to at least get a start.

That's a pretty good start don't you think? What is on your home list this year? Are you as inspired by Pinterest as I am?

Lots of great goals. I gave myself a deadline and it definitely helps. Would love you to link up something in our link party on January 31 for the "Imagine the Impossibilities Challenge" where we each accomplish our "impossible". Mine is purging and organizing 16 years worth of stuff!!
