Day Trippin'

In May I helped create Maysville Elementary's first ever Cultural Arts week. It was very cool. I hope to do this again and would love to have suggestions! Please let me know if you know someone who would volunteer to come see us.

Anyway, one of our guests was author Robyn Hood Black. She wrote a book called Wolves and has actually gotten to know some wolves at the Chestatee Wildlife Preserve. I thought this would be a great place to take my science/nature/animal lover. So, this morning I decided spur of the moment that we would go. It ended up not being all that great. And it was pricey for the amount of animals that they had, but, oh well. You can live from my mistakes. Audrey did like it, as I expected. Avery begrudgingly came along. And Aiden is usually up for anything outdoors as long as you feed him.She talked to the birds. It was sooo cute!

haha! She loves zebra print!

An added bonus was that I got to visit the Southern Living Idea House. Albeit, briefly. Still fun for me. I love that kind of stuff. Give me a decorated house to walk through and I'm happy as a lark!
