Jeff and I hit the furniture store first. We are shopping for a king size bed. Three years sleeping in one on vacation has really made us seriously consider taking the plunge. You see, very seldom are Jeff and I the only ones sleeping in our bed. Yeah, for some reason our kids just can't get enough of us particularly the five year old who is convinced she isn't big enough to sleep in her own bed yet. I didn't see one I liked that much, especially after looking at the price tags! We don't want to change our bedroom wall color which is a nice chocolate brown, so that limits our choices a bit. Any suggestions from you decorating junkies would be appreciated! My style is Pottery Barn on a Target budget!
Next, it was off to a store I couldn't live without (but one I have done very good about limiting my trips to no more than once a month) Tarjay. I went with a list and did not stray from it except to buy Audrey a pair of Spiderman pjs. Bless her heart, she has been sleeping in my old baseball shirts because I haven't taken the time to buy her some real pajamas!
Then Jeff dropped me off at Hallmark while he ran to Lowe's. I found the best Star Wars Father's Day cards for him and my dad. Plus, some really nice notecards and tissue paper from Product (RED). Check out the (RED) section on your next trip to Hallmark. They have a bunch of greeting cards and some really cute notecards, tissue paper, bookmarks, gift wrap, and gift bags. AND, 8% of the proceeds goes to help the HIV/AIDS pandemic in Africa. Every tiny bit helps.
By this time it was time to feed our bellies. We were both getting pretty grouchy! Jeff has affectionately named Casa Mia in Athens "our place." We do tend to eat there anytime we don't have the kids with us. Yummy drinks and tapas always hit the spot. I had a drink tonight that has become my new favorite. It was called Latin something, anyway, it tasted like fluff. You know, the stuff your grandmother makes for pitch ins with jello and marshmallows. I could have had five of them. But, then I wouldn't have been able to make it out of the restaurant and on to our next stop.

Fantastic! I loved this movie! If you haven't seen it yet, I urge you to.
Finally, one of the best things about our date nights is that my sweet husband always gets me home by 10. Thank you Shirley for our night!
