You may not be hearing from me for awhile. My laptop has been missing its space bar for, oh, about 5 months. (Wild child) I have obviously been putting off sending it in to have it repaired because I cannot bear the thought of being without it, no matter how long it takes me to type without a space bar! Since we are vacationing next week, I have decided to take the plunge and give my laptop to our IT dept. Sniff, sniff.
But, here is what has been happening at our house this week.
Ave and I have had volleyball camp each night. I volunteered to help because I know they needed it (and, selfishly, I wanted Avery to have correct instruction on the fundamentals!) The girl has potential! We shall see. They only kept 15 girls 6-8 grades last year for the middle school team. If she tries out and makes it, some time would have to be volunteered there as well as the new coach has never coached volleyball. Yikes! I live in the south, people.
Avery will have braces put on when we get back in town. Holy canoli. It ain't cheap. I'll be sure to post pictures of the big event!
Miss Audie Lynn will be hanging with me tomorrow on my last day of post planning so she can dazzle a kindergarten teacher with her smartness. She will have her kdg testing completed.
And, at approximately 2:00 tomorrow afternoon, summer will officially begin for me. Yay! However, a brief hiatus will ensue for 2 weeks while I teach summer school. 5th grade!?! At least it will be reading.
