All in a Day's Work

We just had the best Saturday yesterday. Thanks to my wonderful husband, I was able to sleep in. He lets me do this every Saturday and it is the best gift he could ever give me (well, besides a trip somewhere tropical without children. pure relaxation.)! Anywho! Audrey did some illustrating (picture to come), video game playing with dad, and she made a peanut butter, butter, and honey sandwich all by herself!
She was so proud!

and tested out his new bat and ball with daddy. Yes, he swings left handed.

Avery caught up on American Idol (she isn't allowed to watch tv during the week a habit I HIGHLY recommend for your elementary aged child) and went with dad to get his hair cut. He then let her get a pedicure. Sweet daddy.

Jeff and I had a babysitter coming so we could go out to eat, but I came down with a headache. So, I was back in bed before the kids while Jeff bathed them and put them to bed. Did I mention I have a wonderful husband? I caught myself thinking yesterday what a wonderful day we were having and how I was so thankful to be given the opportunity to raise these 3 wonderful kids!
