Sorry my posts have become so sporadic lately. Really. I wish I had the time to post more often! A picture of a cute scooter should help you forgive me.


Summer is just around the corner and no one is happier about that than the Mixons! In fact, two of them think summer is here already!

They are crazy I tell you. Crazy!

Someone has also taken to playing with a monkey on her back.

This weekend we started jobs. Teaching my children to serve others is part of my job as a parent. (And if it alleviates some of my stress in the process, just another added benefit!) Once Lenny and Coco saw that they could not whine their way out of it, they were eager to help. Seriously. It was quiet weird. I'm hoping this will also help me let go of some of my control issues. It was all I could do not to refold the towels that Lenny folded!

Lizzy's job is to rule the world of Facebook. She just about has it conquered.

No, really she has a lot of jobs. The joys of being the oldest child!

Lenny is taking a go at track. Kee and Jeff were even able to come to a meet!

This was just as the stomach bug hit the three youngest Mixons. We've survived and are now on the other side of it.
